Call for Proposals for Canadian Junior Scholar Travel Award – 7th World Congress of Cliometrics

As a co-sponsor of the 7th World Congress of Cliometrics in Honolulu Hawaii, USA, June 18-21 2013, the Canadian Network for Economic History (CNEH) is pleased to announce a call for proposals for a Canadian Junior Scholar Travel Award. Consideration for this award is open to all pre-tenure scholars employed at a Canadian institution; doing research on a Canadian topic; and/or holding Canadian citizenship. The award will be used to help defray the winning applicant’s costs to travel to the 2013 World Congress. To be considered for this award applicants should clearly indicate their interest when they submit their proposal to the World Congress programme committee (information available at: http://cliometrics.org/conferences.htm). After being selected for inclusion on the programme, the CNEH Executive will consider all applicants before selecting a winner for the award. Applicants may be asked to provide additional information, including a CV, during the selection process. Financial support for this award has been provided in part by the Canadian Economics Association and the Alan Green Memorial Fund.
