Call for Papers for the 2015 CNEH Conference – Friday, October 16 – Sunday October 18, 2015 Kingston, Ontario

The Canadian Network for Economic History invites proposals for the 50th anniversary conference to be held on October 16-18, 2015 at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Papers will be considered on all topics, with some preference given to those relating to the theme, Mobility and Demographic Change. The CNEH is pleased to announce that Joseph Ferrie (Northwestern) will give the keynote address and Martha Bailey (Michigan) will give the Mary MacKinnon Memorial Lecture. There will be a reception to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the conference on the evening of October 16. To be considered for inclusion in the program please email a 1-2 page abstract to Taylor Jaworski (jaworski@econ.queensu.ca) and Ian Keay (ikeay@econ.queensu.ca). The deadline for proposals is June 1, 2015. The program will be set and presenters notified by late-June. Graduate students and junior scholars are strongly encouraged to submit proposals. Funds may become available to partially reimburse travel and accommodation expenses for student participants. Information on the venue, registration, and program will be posted on www.economichistory.ca as it becomes available.
