Matt and I spent another day hunting for flats in Dublin. This is a shot as Matt checks the map as we
are crossing the Grand Canal on Leeson. I thought the bridge cool with these simply massive old iron pipes running alongside the bridgework. Everything is so beutifully green and overgrown.
Yesterday we took a look at some new flash ones a fair distance from Dublin Centre. They are very fashionable and finished very nicely. The complex itself (Beacon South Quarter) is located in the middle of an industrial park and located on the LUAS about 20 minutes from the centre of town. Our new best friend Róisín then took us for lunch at her place and then gave us an amazing tour all around South Dublin. I stayed out in the Stillorgin area until later and viewed a larger two bedroom posh apartment and then a three bedroom house in Stillorgan proper. There are almost too many options. I am faced with a decision over what my day to day life will involve.
Today we arranged a viewing at an apartment for Matt right in the centre of Dublin. Quite a nice cosy place and he may well end up there. We walked out from from the centre to get a feel for walkability and checked out the village and town centres at Ranaleagh, Ballsbridge, Blackrock and Sandymount. Now we have seen much that looks very promising and the embarrassment of choices leaves one very indecisive.
